LAURA KNIGHT THOMPSON

With more than ten years’ experience in the field of architecture and planning, I spent a large amount of my time in practice at FSP - a firm of Architects and Planners specialising in the conversion and restoration of existing buildings and large scale commercial projects.

I became a sole practitioner in 2015 and formed Sketch Plan Build in 2018. SPB carries out architectural and planning commissions for both commercial and domestic clients, ranging from one off residential 

extensions to large scale new build developments, predominantly in the London and Greater London area.

​

Whilst the majority of the projects are at the earlier stages such as feasibility, design, planning and planning appeal stages, works span the RIBA project stages, with two projects currently about to start on site. Previous works encompass various sectors such as residential, conservation and commercial, including new builds, listed buildings and major projects. We also work closely with and frequently provide 

architectural support to PDA Planning Consultants on more challenging planning projects.
